Nova Scotia Coach Headed to 2019 Masters Indoor World Cup in Hong Kong
<p>Sharon Rajaraman, Halifax, N.S., will be heading to Hong Kong to coach the Canadian Masters Men’s and Women’s teams. Field Hockey Canada will be sending two men’s teams and one women’s team to the 2019 Masters Indoor World Cup. The competition is set for February 14-17. Atlantic University Field Hockey Championships
<p>The Atlantic University Field Hockey League’s championships tournament was hosted October 27 and 28 in Charlottetown, PE by the University of Prince Edward Island. In the championship final UPEI defeated Dalhousie 2-0 to claim the AUFH Title while St. FX defeated SMU 2-0 in the bronze medal game. <p>The Annual Atlantic Cup Field Hockey Tournament was held this weekend at Dalhousie University Turf in Halifax. The round robin tournament consisted of 6 teams with a final between the top two teams after pool play. The final saw the Halifax Andrews Team defeat the Halifax Privateers 1-0. Nancy Tokaryk Memorial Trust Fund and Golf Tournament
<p>The Nancy Tokaryk Memorial Trust Fund was established to commemorate Nancy’s contribution to the sport of women’s field hockey, her personal leadership and student mentorship, and volunteer community service. Each year a scholarship valued at $1000 is awarded from the trust fund. Each year the Nancy Tokaryk Memorial Golf Tournament is hosted at Lost Creek Golf Course.
